Job at Perak State Agriculture Development Corporation (Perbadanan Pembangunan Pertanian Negeri Perak)


Applications are invited from qualified Malaysians with priority being given to those from the State of Perak, to serve in the Perak State Agriculture Development Corporation Group of Companies ("SADC Group") in the following positions:
Marketing Manager / Executive
Perak
Responsibilities:
Manager :-
  •  Identify potential prospects to develop new business.
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
  • Develop business strategy for developing existing or new business.
  • Conduct analysis and study/identifying sales growth and potential businesses.
  • Attract and secure customers to establish long term business relationship to ensure continuous renewals.
  • Monitor and ensure the continuous improvement in customer satisfaction for his product group.
  •  Able to work independently or joint efforts with Corporate and Commercial Department.
  • Provide sales budget and analysis reports of sales performance monthly and annually.
  • Regular travel to provide good services and to gain customer trust and loyalty.
  • Identifying the developmental needs of subordinate, coaching & mentoring and helping them to improve their knowledge or skills.
  • Support sales activities & coordination
  • Communicate & lialise with customers to identify & develop business opportunities
  • Administer for marketing activities & promotion campaign.
 Executive :-
  • Identify potential prospects to develop new business.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone and personal visits.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
  • Attract and secure customers to establish long term business relationship to ensure continuous renewals.
  • Support planning to identify priorities for his product group requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure the continuous improvement in customer satisfaction for his product group.
  •  Able to work independently or joint efforts with Corporate and Commercial Department.
  • n-charge of monitoring stock and movements and payment collections of the relevant sales.
  • Regular travel to provide good services and to gain customer trust and loyalty.
 

Requirements:
Manager :-
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): computer literate, good communication & interpersonal skill, Independent & Self Starter.
  • At least seven (7) years experience in sales / marketing / business development role with proven track records.
  • Knowledge of International and Domestic Sales will be an added advantage
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Chinese language will be  an added advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A team player and able to work under pressure.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.
  • self-starter, independent and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Ipoh.
  • Age : 35 years & above.
  • Pleasent and mature disposition with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels.
 Executive :-
  • Possess STPM/Diploma/Degree in Marketing or any related discipline.
  • Preferably with 1-3 years related experience.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to communicate fluently in English, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Mandarin or Chinese language will be an added advantage
  • Must be aggressive, independent and result oriented.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Creative thinker and receptive to change.
  • Must be willing to travel outstation.
  • Possess own transport
Competitive remuneration will commensurate with qualification and experience. Periodical training in various aspects of manufacturing and product technical knowledge will be given.
