Electronic Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design electronics circuitry/PCB for world leading encoder solution with excellent digital and analogue system design knowledge at different frequencies and noise immunity requirements
• Require to perform DOE, product characterization/datasheet generation, and statistical data analysis in the process of the product development               
• Ability to work in teams and liaise with cross functional group in developing and integration of the overall mechanical, optics, electronics and firmware solution

Requirements:

• Bachelors, Master or PhD Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years experience in R&D with at least 4 years relevant experience in circuitry design.
• Knowledge in electronics simulation and layout tools, Multism, Protel and Cadence will be added advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and written skill in English

Specialist / Senior Process Development Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Be part of the R&D/Reliability engineering team to develop and setup new assembly process quality controls at our contract manufacturers.
• Ensure new process development and controls setup at contract manufacturers meet internal and customer quality requirements.
• Work with R&D, NPI and contract manufacturers to characterize the process margins, define adequate process controls at different phases of product development cycles and be able to ramp to high volume without quality issues.
• Design experiments and implement appropriate quality testing for quick detection of process weaknesses at early phase of design cycles and ensure that new product meets customer expectations as well as targeted reliability goals.
• Perform risk assessment using quality/reliability engineering tools prior to release of new products.
• Work closely with NPI and contract manufacturers to establish PFMEA, control measures and monitoring plan.
• Drive contract manufacturers for quality improvements during the process development cycles.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and possess good analytical problem solving skills.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in managing semiconductor contract manufacturers.
• Familiar with semiconductor packaging assembly processes.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant resident status.

Digital IC Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Translate schematics design to physical layout which passes DRC and LVS
• Perform floor plan and block layout to achieve optimize performance, matching and size
• Place and route digital design

Requirements:

• Degree in Microelectronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 2 years experience in layout design
• Skill requirement in CMOS, Microelectronics design, Digital design, Verilog, VLSI, Perl & CSH
• Knowledge requirement in layout design tools and P&R tools
• Familiar with silicon fabrication process
• Devices matching knowledge
• VLSI & semiconductor testing methodology

Analog IC Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of CMOS analog circuit analysis and design concepts
• Knowledge and experience in CMOS and bipolar process and design of gain amplifiers, switched capacitors, bandgap and references, TIA and data converters.
• Understanding of devices and process technology to be able to do complex circuit design
• Understand placement and layout issues with respect to mixed signal IC and able to supervise or hands-on in layout and characterization
• Responsible for the IC's circuit design, simulation, prototype evaluation, characterization, hands-on layout.
• Provide technical leadership and consultancy to other engineers 

Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master / PhD in Electrical / Electronics / Semiconductor Engineering.
• Must possess strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level design and simulation
• Proficiency in use of EDA tools for schematic capture, circuit design, simulation, post simulation analysis, layout.
• Minimum 3 years practical design experience in analog and mixed signal circuit design.
• Technically competent in analog and mixed signal circuit design, SPICE simulation, layout implementation, floor planning and signal integrity issue in mixed signal design.
• Good understanding of semiconductor physics.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills are required. Candidates must be highly self-motivated.
• Knowledge in Matlab and Verilog modeling is an added advantage.

Supply Chain Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and execution of the Master Production Schedule to maximize customer satisfaction, company revenue, CRSD delivery performance (Customer Required Ship Date) and CM capacity maximization.
• Drive production schedule and shortage review with CM and material team regularly to ensure meeting on time delivery (OTD). 
• Close monitoring of CM shipments.
• Regular review of sales forecast, sales orders, inventory holding and production capacity at CMs.
• Responsible for the coordination of any new product introduction or new production launch in the CM. 
• Work closely with other departments on issues related to customer deliveries.
• Participate in the enhancement of planning information tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economic/ Mathematics with minimum 5 years working experience in Production Planning/Materials Planning or its related preferably in Semiconductor / Electronic industry from MNC companies.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent in MS office application.
• Excellent communication (written & spoken) in English.
• Candidate is able to speak in Chinese is added advantage.
• Oracle SAP knowledge is added advantage.

  

NPI Product Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Part of NPI team to release new products to Manufacturing and to ensure every new product meets or exceeds the targeted timelines/ yield/ UPH/ quality/ reliability and financial performance.
• Develop PFMEA with R&D during product development stage to prevent manufacturing & quality problems during MPV & production ramp.
• Collaborate with manufacturing & CM to ensure production readiness in material, specs, capacity etc, and formulate capacity investment strategy based on cost, supportability & timeline (if needed).
• Responsible for Part Number setup, BOM setup, product electrical specs and process related documentations before Product Release phase.
• Lead cross functional team focusing on Wafer/Product Performance/ Yield/ Quality/ Reliability Improvement activities.
• Serve as technical linkage between Front-end (FAB and R&D) and Back-end Manufacturing (Assembly and Test) operations.
• Assess and qualify product/process changes by performing product characterization and initiating reliability testing.
• Serve as customer interface on product/technical issues. Provide product technical support to evaluate special customer requests and driving for Lead Free/RoHS/ Green Product compliance initiatives.
• Remote management of Assembly & Test CM and Internal FAB/FAB Foundry on die/product yield, quality and reliability improvement activities.
• Project management, including planning and scheduling of Engineering builds and MPV to ensure smooth production startup and other project deliverables are met within timeline and resources given.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering or a Bachelor/Master of Science and/or Physics degree
• Min 3 years of working experience in the related field in Semiconductor, in either Product Engineering, Process, Product Testing or Quality related functions. Candidates with more than 2 years of working experience but with strong achievements may also be considered.
• Demonstrated Statistic Application Knowledge, especially in DOEs, Process Controls (SPC), Problem Analysis Techniques, Failure Analysis Process, etc. Must have demonstrated programs/project improvement successes and also developed Problem Solving Skills
• Strong project management and planning skills
