Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC) was formed on April 2011 and started operation in July. As an agency under the Prime Minister’s Department, MPRC’s role is to promote, catalyse and transform the oil and gas services sector to become stronger entities to support industry needs domestically as well as in international markets. In doing so, MPRC wants to position Malaysia to be the number one O&G hub in the Asia Pacific region by 2017.

Head of Administration
Kuala Lumpur - G Tower
Responsibilities:
  • To oversee all matters relating to HR, Finance, IT and payroll management and administration to enhance the efficiency of the company;
  • To supervise all matters relating to office management, administration, Finance, IT, operations and maintenance to ensure effective utilization of the resources;
  • To provide support in motivating, training, guiding and counseling to promote better performance and work productivity
  • To create, implementation and execution of the HR, Finance and IT strategies, policies and practices to promote better staff disciplines, commitment, motivation and performance throughout the company;
  • To review, development and implementation of systems, procedures and processes to improve the operational efficiency of the company; and
  • To prepare reports by compiling and analyzing data as and when requested by the management for review and decision making.
A. GENERIC - Job description:
  • Ensure investment and KPI targets are achieve.
  • Working in teams to develop strategies and to provide leadership/direction to various government and private entities.
  • Conduct analysis and identify problems.
  • Formulate solutions, recommendations and also implementation plans with clear targets.
  • Provide programme management support to ensure timely and effective delivery of targets.
  • Track and monitor progress of implementation.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports to the CEO, directors and stakeholders in the Government.
  • Engage stakeholders at all operational levels to obtain alignment and shared direction.
B. GENERIC - Ideal attributes & skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • High capacity: Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Proactively employs strategic and critical thinking in solving issues and challenges.
  • Action oriented, independent, self-motivated and driven to deliver results. Prepared to work long hours, under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
 
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in G Tower.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Contract position(s) available.
